Olympic and Paralympic Legends – a Hall of Fame and staging Legends Camps to promote the achievements and stories of local sporting legends.
Global Partnership and International Inspiration –building relationships with Olympic teams from other nations, offering facilities and hospitality and forging a legacy of sport, cultural, educational, tourism and business links.
Team Coventry & Warwickshire – establishing academies in Olympic sports, providing support for young sportspeople and their coaches.
Carnivals and Festivals - adopting an Olympic theme for all carnivals and festivals and encouraging ‘come and try’ sporting sessions to encourage participation.
Stratford to Stratford – building links between Stratford on Avon and Stratford East London, through schools and exchanges with young people in both regions.
Coventry Cathedral – Peace and Reconciliation – Celebrating the cathedral’s Golden Jubilee in 2012 through torch relay visits, education and a ‘Peace Cup’ recognising the power of sport to bridge division and conflict.
